Extraction Back-pressure Steam Turbine
Extraction back pressure steam turbines are the extraction of a portion of the steam from the intermediate stage of the steam turbine for heat users who need a higher pressure level, while maintaining a certain back pressure for heat users who need a lower pressure level.
Working Principle
The basic principle of steam turbine operation is that the blades are affected by steam to produce a reaction force that pushes the impeller to rotate. On this basic principle, Extraction back pressure steam turbine reduces the pressure between the inlet and exhaust ends by extracting some of the steam. Therefore, the steam can fully release energy during the expansion process in the steam turbine and improve the efficiency of the steam turbine.
Application Fields:
The basic principle of the extraction back pressure steam turbine is a commonly used cogeneration equipment, and its basic principle is to use fuel combustion to produce high-temperature and high-pressure steam, drive the steam turbine to rotate, thereby generating mechanical work, and at the same time extract part of the steam for heating. The economy of this kind of unit is similar to that of the back-pressure unit, and the economy is better under the design working conditions, but the adaptability to load changes is poor.
·Power Generation: Thermal systems in high-energy-consuming industrial sectors such as chemical engineering, steel, coking, combined heat and power supply, papermaking, printing and dyeing, sugar refining, metallurgy, and building materials. It replaces desuperheating and pressure-reducing devices for power generation.
·Industrial Drive: Drives large machinery such as compressors and pumps.
Our company custom-designs and independently develops high-efficiency condensing steam turbine units, which are multi-stage small enthalpy drop impulse steam turbines. Different from the condensing steam turbine rotors of other manufacturers, the design has 2-4 more pressure stages; the design reduces the distance between flow stages, allowing more stages to be arranged in the flow part. The enthalpy drop of each stage is reduced, the flow diameter is decreased, and the blade height loss is significantly reduced. The flow part of the condensing steam turbine also optimizes the profile design of blades, nozzles, and diaphragm nozzles, effectively reducing all losses in the flow part of the condensing steam turbine, thereby improving the mechanical conversion efficiency of the condensing steam turbine and having a wide load adaptation capacity and overload capacity. This technology was selected into the 2019 China Industrial Energy Conservation Technology and Equipment Recommendation Catalog and Cases issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.
