Extraction condensing steam turbine
Extraction condensing steam turbine refers to the steam entering the steam turbine in the middle of the steam turbine to extract part of the steam that has done work, for other users to use, and the other part of the steam side is discharged into the condenser to form water and return to the boiler.

Working Principle
After steam expands and performs work in the turbine, almost all of it (except for a small amount of shaft seal leakage) enters the condenser to condense into water. The exhaust steam of the turbine is cooled in the condenser, causing its volume to sharply shrink and form a vacuum. This reduces the exhaust pressure of the turbine, increases the ideal enthalpy drop of the steam, and thus improves the thermal efficiency of the power plant system.

Main Application Fields
Power Generation: Thermal systems in high-energy-consuming industrial sectors such as chemical engineering, steel, coking, combined heat and power supply, papermaking, printing and dyeing, sugar refining, metallurgy, and building materials. It replaces desuperheating and pressure-reducing devices for power generation.

1. Customized design. The independently developed high-efficiency steam turbine unit is a multi-stage impulse steam turbine with small enthalpy drop. Different from the steam turbine rotors of other manufacturers, it is designed with 2-4 more pressure stages; the design reduces the flow stage distance, so that more stages are arranged in the flow part, the enthalpy drop of each stage is reduced, the flow diameter is reduced, and the blade height loss is significantly reduced. The turbine flow part also optimizes the profile design of the blades, nozzles, and baffle nozzles, effectively reducing all losses in the turbine flow part, thereby improving the mechanical conversion efficiency of the turbine, and having a wider load adaptability and overload capacity.

C. The turbine shaft seal and blade tip steam seal adopt internationally advanced seal structures, effectively reducing shaft seal and interstage steam leakage.
D. The rotor diameter is reduced, the blade length is increased, various contact clearances are further compressed, the steam seal has strong tightness, reducing steam leakage, and steam is fully utilized to do work under the same working conditions, thus achieving high efficiency and more power generation.
E. Integrally forged rotor assembly structure: The rotor uses an integral forging, which is an integrally forged rigid rotor. The impeller and shaft are integrated, increasing operational safety and stability.
F. Multi-stage pressure stages: Its unique multi-stage flow design significantly improves the unit efficiency. The optimization of the flow structure enables the unit to output more power and do more work under the same working conditions, directly generating energy-saving economic benefits.
G. Increase the length and quantity of comb-teeth steam seal from original 36 teeth to 45 teeth, and the tooth height is also increased, which effectively reduces steam leakage;


Operational Characteristics and Technical Advantages

  • The internal efficiency of the steam turbine is high, and the steam consumption is low. Compared with the steam turbines of other manufacturers, the designed internal efficiency of the same working condition model is increased by about 5%.
  • The designed steam turbine unit has small operation vibration, and the current unit vibration is within 0.015mm.
  • The designed steam leakage of the turbine is reduced compared to the traditional models of other manufacturers.
  • The regulation system adopts an independent anti-wear hydraulic oil pure electro-hydraulic regulation system. Compared with other manufacturers that use low-pressure oil regulation and emergency protection systems shared with oil stations, the oil motor has a large pulling force, is not prone to sticking, has high regulation accuracy, and fast emergency shutdown response speed. It eliminates the hidden dangers of regulation and safety oil system failures caused by water ingress, emulsification, and deterioration in the shared lubrication oil system, and is more economical and safer than anti-friction oil.

Comparing with similar steam extraction back pressure steam turbine units from domestic market, it can improve efficiency by 10% to 30%, reduce the unit dimension and occupy less space at the same time. The optimization of the flow structure enables the unit to produce more power under the same working conditions, thus generate energy-saving economic benefits.
